Overview or User Role Permissions

The table below provides an outline of each of the various roles in the guideline review process.

Role

Permissions

Project Manager

  • Can set up reviews and manage all other participants in the review.

  • Has access to reports and review exports.

  • Can access the editing page and edit master content.

Reviewer

  • Can access the review page and create comments.

  • Can edit/delete their own comments for an active review.

  • Can access previous reviews of the same guideline.

Panel Chair

  • Can access the guideline editing page to view all guideline comments (either anonymous or not depending on system set up)

  • Can respond to each comment and change the status of the comment (e.g. changes incorporated)

  • Can respond to and create discussion threads for reviewer comments

Review Coordinator

  • Can see and provide review coordinator responses to all comments.

  • Can change the priority of comments to high priority

Writing Committee

  • View all comments in anonymous and read only format

  • Can start and participate in discussion threads.

Document Overview

  • Can view all comments, review coordinator and editor feedback in read only format
